Law Clerk

Maggie Palmer is an ambitious and dedicated law clerk at Elsea Law Firm, P.A. Maggie was born in Tallahassee, Florida and graduated cum laude from the University of North Florida, with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and a minor in Economics. She is in her third and final year at Stetson University College of Law. During her time in law school, Maggie was selected as a Certified Legal Intern in the Sixth Judicial Circuit (Pinellas County). Maggie served as a judicial intern to the Honorable Mark D. Kiser in the Thirteenth Judicial Circuit (Hillsborough County), who presides over a criminal docket in the felony division. In addition to Elsea Law Firm, P.A., Maggie also works at a Tampa-based Family Law firm. She is passionate about both criminal law and family law, and plans to specialize in both areas after earning her J.D.

Prior to attending law school, Maggie worked as a paralegal for three years during college, where she gained experience in the fields of personal injury law and medical malpractice. She served as Vice President of her sorority, amongst other leadership roles.

When she is not at work or school, Maggie enjoys spending time at the beach and spoiling her two cats, Gus and Fluff.
